Job summary

National Spine & Pain Centers in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Full-Time Patient Service Coordinator to join our team of healthcare professionals. You will manage front desk duties, check-in/out patients, and enter demographic and insurance information into our EMR system, while collecting copays and balances to keep accounts current.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of medical office experience, and familiarity with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of administrative medical office experience.
• Experience with EMR systems required.
• Experience in Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, or Orthopedics preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Background check including driving, criminal, employment, education, and SSN.

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full-Time Patient Service Coordinator to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our office in Fort Lauderdale.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays)
• Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform patient check in/out procedures, to include entering demographic/insurance information into an EMR system, collecting any outstanding copays/balances
• Work with patients, insurance companies, and providers to maintain demographic information, obtain proper authorizations,
• Prepare charts for upcoming appointments and process medical records requests in an efficient manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of administrative medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, required.
• Experience in Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, or Orthopedics, strongly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.
