AltaMed Health Services Corp. in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a Patient Service Center Coordinator I to deliver exceptional customer service while helping patients schedule, reschedule, and cancel medical and dental appointments.

You will answer calls, assist with registration, verify demographics and insurance, route calls to the right departments, and support daily call-center operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a call center environment or customer service environment required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients with scheduling, rescheduling and cancelling medical and dental appointments.
• Answer incoming calls, assist with patient registration, verify demographic and insurance information, and route calls to appropriate departments.
• Monitor patient call flow and assist with appointment confirmations and routine clinic updates to support daily call center operations.
• Serve as a resource to patients by providing information about AltaMed services and promoting preventive health initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through effective communication and teamwork in adherence to policies.

Job Overview

The Patient Service Center Coordinator I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling medical and dental appointments. The Coordinator answers incoming calls, assists with patient registration, verifies demographic and insurance information, and routes calls to the appropriate departments. The Coordinator supports daily call center operations by monitoring patient call flow, assisting with appointment confirmations, and communicating routine clinic updates. The Coordinator I serves as a resource to patients by providing accurate information regarding AltaMed services and promoting preventive health initiatives. Lastly, the Coordinator contributes to a positive patient experience through effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a call center environment or customer service environment required.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Compensation

$25.00 - $27.97 hourly
