City Staffing is hiring a Patient Scheduling Representative for an onsite role in Munster, Indiana. Start ASAP for a temporary-to-permanent position with a 9:30 AM–6:00 PM schedule and $18–$20/hour plus full benefits upon conversion.

The role involves answering calls, scheduling medical tests, verifying demographics and insurance, and ensuring accurate registration data while delivering compassionate patient service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Physical therapy office experience preferred.
• Epic experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office, patient scheduling, registration, or call center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance required; managed care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and ability to demonstrate empathy and patience.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay: $18 - 20/hour | full benefits upon conversion

In this role, you will assist patients by answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to schedule medical tests and procedures. You will play an important role in delivering exceptional patient service while ensuring accurate information is collected for the registration and scheduling process.
