Providence ElderPlace in Everett, WA is seeking a Patient Scheduler to coordinate patient appointments and transportation logistics for ElderPlace participants. This on-site role supports the mission of patient-focused, whole-person care within a large health system.

The position requires driving as needed and adherence to state driving laws. A related associate degree and experience in dispatching or scheduling are preferred, with competitive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Description

The Patient Scheduler is an office-based, non-clinical position responsible for scheduling appointments and dispatching transportation to ensure Providence ElderPlace participants are transported to and from scheduled medical appointments.

Required Qualifications

• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in English, Business administration, Communications, or related field. --Or equivalent educ/experience--
• Two (2) years dispatching transportation and/or scheduling medical appointments

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
