Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Patient Sitter to observe patients who are confused, combative, or at risk of harming themselves or falling. The sitter will remain under the supervision of the nurse responsible for the patient's care.

You will promptly alert the staff nurse to concerns and follow established protocols to support patient safety. Prior healthcare exposure is not required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients who have been assessed as confused, combative, have the potential to cause themselves harm, or are a fall risk; contact staff nurse as appropriate with concerns.
