Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license (if required for the role).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire or willingness to obtain.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Montana Security Guard Licensure within 120 days of hire if located in Montana.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor security systems including cameras, access control, and alarms.
• De-escalate conflicts using verbal and non-verbal techniques.
• Intervene to protect safety during violent patient incidents and use restraints when necessary.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance when reporting crimes or incidents.
• Respond to bomb threats and suspicious packages per protocols.
• Participate in drills such as infant abduction and active shooter scenarios.
• Conduct searches of patients and belongings in compliance with law.
• Perform safety inspections of walking surfaces and extinguishers.
• Enforce parking rules to maintain safety and accessibility.
• Collaborate with HR and law enforcement on investigations.
