Qualifications

• Current Driver's License (if applicable for the role).
• Current Basic Life Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• At least 21 years of age.
• One-year previous law enforcement, corrections, public safety, military police or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor security technology systems (surveillance, access control, alarms).
• De-escalate conflicts using verbal and non-verbal skills.
• Protect safety of patients, staff and visitors; intervene when aggression occurs.
• Follow HIPAA and reporting protocols; coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and secure premises; participate in drills and emergencies.
