Memorial Health is seeking a Manager of Patient Safety and Accreditation to lead the patient safety program, promote safe practices, and guide the organization through survey processes and findings.

The role covers regulatory knowledge (Joint Commission, CMS, Illinois Hospital Licensing Act), building a culture of safety, supervising staff, and coordinating with leaders to ensure ongoing compliance and rapid corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a healthcare field; nurse licensure preferred.
• CPPS and/or CPHQ certification required; Just Culture certification required.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience; 2+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with patient safety events, quality improvement, and regulatory activities.

Responsabilités

• Maintains knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and Illinois licensing standards.
• Oversees readiness for accreditation surveys and coordinates action plans.
• Leads response to surveys, plans of correction, and inquiries.
• Promotes a just culture, mentors staff, and coaches team members.
