Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with knowledge of quality/performance improvement and accreditation requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred and applicable regulatory standards familiarity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to educate staff.

Responsibilities

• Set the agenda and maintain meeting minutes.
• Provide quarterly and monthly reports on quality trends to governing bodies.
• Coordinate center policies to meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Ensure currency of physician files and credentialing, and manage peer review data.
• Maintain center readiness for surveys and identify areas for improvement.
• Educate leadership and staff on regulatory issues and safety/quality processes.
