Job summary

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy seeks a Quality-Patient Safety Program Manager to drive clinical excellence and regulatory readiness. You will coordinate Quality Management, Patient Safety, and performance improvement across the hospital and medical staff, leading multidisciplinary teams and conducting root cause analyses to improve outcomes.

Minimum three years of acute care clinical experience and one year in healthcare quality management are required.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• At least one year in healthcare quality management or performance improvement.
• Active RN or Pharmacist license and commitment to CPHQ/HCQM within 24 months.
• Expert in quality methodologies (LEAN or Six Sigma) with strong analytics.
• Able to manage complex projects while maintaining peer review confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QM, PS, and performance improvement initiatives across hospital and medical staff.
• Lead multidisciplinary performance improvement teams and conduct clinical quality reviews.
• Perform root cause analyses to minimize risks and improve patient outcomes.
• Identify data elements, manage data collection/abstraction, and present actionable reports.
• Advise on accreditation needs and oversee mock tracers for survey readiness.
