Responsibilities

The Patient Safety Program Manager is responsible for supporting a system wide approach to measure, evaluate and improve patient safety across Central Maine Healthcare. The manager is responsible for ensuring the system is compliant with the Maine Sentinel Event law by working proactively to identify, investigate and report sentinel events. The manager conducts a system wide approach to root cause analysis (RCA), personally conducting, coordinating, facilitating and participating in patient safety related assessments, improvement efforts, root cause analysis and failure modes effects analysis. The manager will convene, coordinate, lead and align the system leaders in their responsibilities to identify patient safety risks and will support/facilitate the implementation of systems and processes that promote a culture of safety and reduce patient harm.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.75 to $49.33 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
