Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to support the implementation and sustainment of a comprehensive patient safety program at the unit level. You will monitor safety events, identify trends, and promote a culture of safety through frontline education and participation in safety activities.

The role requires an Associate degree and 2 years of healthcare experience; active RN license and CPPS/CPHQ certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 2 years healthcare experience with quality/safety committee involvement or related investigations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail oriented.
