Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Patient Safety Supporter/CSO Care Partner to oversee patient monitoring and support safe patient care across campuses. The role serves as a resource to enforce policy, communicate with leaders, and coordinate staffing for 1:1 monitoring of at-risk patients.

The position requires at least 1 year of related experience, BLS certification within 30 days of hire, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment through one-on-one monitoring and rounds per policy.
• Deliver exceptional service to coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians, and volunteers.
• Act as shift lead supporting the supervisor with daily operations.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Proactively round with departmental staff and leaders from other departments.
• Respond to staff emergencies involving CSO Patient Safety Supporter/Care Partner staff and Code BERT events.
• Support ongoing service quality improvements and provide feedback on staff performance.
• Participate in required system and departmental meetings and act as a patient advocate.
