Veterans Health Administration, Sioux Falls VA Health Care System, is seeking a Patient Safety Informatics Registered Nurse to lead safety improvements across electronic health record workflows. You will identify risks, analyze safety trends, and guide risk mitigation while collaborating with informatics, patient safety, and national partners.

Formación
- English language proficiency required
- RN License in state with full, active, unrestricted status
- Graduate of an approved nursing program (BSN/ADN/diploma) with licensure
- GNT exception path for licensure pursuit may apply
- Reference VA Qualification Standards available online
Responsabilidades
- Identify patient safety risks within EHR workflows and partner with informatics team
- Review and reconcile patient safety events and incidents using EHR systems
- Analyze safety data using systems thinking and end-to-end workflow reviews
- Conduct risk analyses (RCA, HFMEA, incident investigations) and share findings
- Communicate trends and recommendations to facility leaders and national partners
- Educate end users during EHR go-live and sustainment activities
