Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital is seeking a Security Officer PD in Secaucus, NJ. This full-time, non-union position involves controlling access, patrolling, escorting visitors, and maintaining safety across the facility.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, handling emergencies, and coordinating with police and fire departments as needed. Requires a NJ SORA license, high school diploma/ GED, and prior experience; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years relative experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to all parts of the facility.
• Meets and assists patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Provides escorts as requested.
• Conducts foot patrols to prevent or detect fire, theft, vandalism and trespass.
• Monitors behavior of visitors and stops unauthorized persons when needed.
• Secures and/or unlocks offices and premises.
• Restraints patients when necessary.
• Maintains valid driver’s license.
• Assists in providing shift coverage and emergency/overtime contact.
