Job summary

The Data Quality Analyst at Boone Hospital Center will support the collection, reporting and analysis of patient safety data to improve care quality, patient safety, and healthcare outcomes. This role collaborates across stakeholders to develop forms, surveillance tools and data reporting processes for enterprise-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and improve surveillance programs for patient safety, customer feedback and reporting platforms.
• Partners with teams to define indicators, data sources, data warehousing and data reporting for patient safety events.
• Uses SQL and data querying, manipulation and presentation tools to collect, manage and present data to support business operations.
• Assists in managing product and user support activities around vendor-based or internally developed systems; analyzes data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Supports governance teams to guide development and improvement of reporting tools and surveillance platforms.
