UCLA Health in Los Angeles seeks a Patient Safety Analyst to support patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, helping to prevent harm to patients. You will analyze data related to safety events and outcomes and prepare moderately complex reports for the Patient Safety team.

This role manages systems used by the team, such as the SOFI event reporting system, documents significant reviews, and collaborates with leadership to provide insights for the Culture of Safety Survey.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of quality, patient safety, or risk management experience.
• Experience working with large data and analytical support.
• Strong analytical skills to review and interpret patient safety data.
• Experience with system management.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze data related to patient safety practices, incidents, and outcomes.
• Prepare moderately complex reports to support the Patient Safety team.
• Manage and support systems used by the Patient Safety team, such as SOFI and electronic systems for documenting reviews.
• Handle system configurations, user mapping, tracking optimization requests, and troubleshooting.
• Support the Good Catch and Zero Harm recognition programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide system support and reports for the Culture of Safety Survey.
