Job summary

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and experience in healthcare. The position involves ensuring patient safety and maintaining detailed documentation in electronic health records.

Shifts are during the day, and the position is onsite in Akron, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in medical terminology preferred.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Experience working in an electronic medical record (e.g., EPIC) or similar software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, one-on-one observation of assigned patients to ensure safety.
• Utilize approved verbal de-escalation techniques to reduce agitation.
• Accurately document patient observations in the electronic health record.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
