Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to monitor and safeguard patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves continuous observation of individuals who cannot independently ensure their own safety.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills. Hospital experience is preferred; shift schedules vary and may include irregular hours.

Summary: Ensures safety of the patient through direct observation. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing observation of patients unable to maintain their own personal safety.

Requirements: High school education or equivalent. Previous hospital experience preferred. Good communication skills. Ability to operate hand-held two-way radio. Must be willing and able to sit for long periods of time monitoring patients safety.

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $16.00 - $16.00 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
