Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to monitor patients remotely from a safe, confidential station. You will watch for falls or self-harm and instantly notify the care team to intervene, while documenting activity and preserving privacy throughout each shift.

This role emphasizes collaboration with the healthcare team to uphold compassionate, respectful care and patient safety across our facilities and services.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• No experience Required Years of Experience

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. From your remote station, you will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns in real time – empowering the care team to respond quickly and helping care for and improve lives one moment at a time.
