Summary: Ensures the safety of patients through direct observation. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing observation of patients unable to maintain their own personal safety.

Requirements: High school education or equivalent. Previous hospital experience preferred. Good communication skills. Ability to operate a hand-held two-way radio. Must be willing and able to sit for long periods monitoring patient safety.

Work Shift Details:

Afternoons, Emergency Department Patient Safety Attendant part-time, 3 p.m. - 11 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.
