Schedule & Shifts

Schedules are available 6 weeks in advance. Shifts are 8 hours:

• Day shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
• Evening shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
• Night shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am

Work Schedule Commitments

• Per diem: 64 hours in 6 weeks, including 16 Saturday hours, 16 Sunday hours, and 32 weekday hours. Work during assigned shifts; additional hours are flexible. Work one summer and one winter holiday. Not benefited.
• Part-time: 24 hours/week, every other weekend and holiday rotation. Benefits eligible.
• Full-time: 40 hours/week, every other weekend and holiday rotation. Benefits eligible.

Responsibilities

The Safety Associate works under supervision to observe and intervene for patient safety, maintaining a safe environment. They do not provide direct patient care. Responsibilities include:

• 1:1 observation: constant supervision, redirection, and behavior monitoring
• Continuous rounds: assessing multiple rooms and environments on a continuous basis

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Interest in Behavioral Health Sciences preferred
