Job summary

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is seeking a Patient Safety Assistant for full-time night shifts. You will work under a Registered Nurse to provide essential care, companionship, and support to patients in a safe, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, assisting with daily activities, and engaging patients in activities to promote well-being. Previous patient care experience and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of BLS Heartsaver during orientation.
• Preferred: experience in patient care or related field.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations.

• Assist patients with feeding, bathing, toileting, and ambulating.
• Engage patients in activities such as reading or playing cards.
