Job Description

To coordinate patient care in the MRI department: facilitates proper dressing and screening; discusses procedures; answers patient questions; completes pre-appointment screening history; obtains appropriate ordering diagnoses and pre-certification requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required and, if certified by another accrediting agency, NHA certification must be obtained within six months of employment. Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
