Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Room Service Representative to manage patient meal orders and requests within the hospital dining program. You will input orders in the CBORD system, ensure diet orders are accurate, and assist patients with room service needs in a courteous manner.

Shifts run 6:30am–3:00pm or 2:00pm–9:00pm, with Saturday availability required. Prior customer service and telemarketing exposure are valued, as is familiarity with Cerner and food-handling procedures.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months customer service experience preferred, preferably in hospitality.
• 6 months telemarketing experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

Aufgaben

• Answers inbound calls to assist with Room Service orders following guidelines.
• Enters orders in CBORD Room Service database and follows diet orders.
• Enters diet orders from Cerner and Dietitians into CBORD accurately.
• Prints and uses CBORD outputs to ensure accuracy of reports and trays.
• Prepares feedings and maintains formula inventory to support nutrition.
• Documents meal counts and nutrition data; maintains patient files.
• Prepares area for room service tray production and keeps it clean.
• Assists patients with pre-meal service and questions in a courteous manner.
• Follows dietary guidelines and alerts dietitians when necessary.
