Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Room Service Ambassador to prepare and deliver patient and guest trays with outstanding hospitality. The role requires rotating shifts, weekend availability, and adherence to service guidelines to ensure accuracy and timely delivery in a hospital setting.

An ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, 6 months of food service experience, and knowledge of food production and basic computer use.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 6 months food service experience preferred, especially in hospitality with customer service.
• Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room service trays and maintains cleanliness of the assembly area.
• Ensures adequate food and supplies are available for service.
• Assembles and delivers patient food trays to rooms within time guidelines.
• Assists with production and preparation of food items for timely Room Service orders.
• Interacts with patients, families, staff with welcoming, professional service.
