Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a dedicated kitchen associate to support patient meals, cafeteria, and catered orders under supervision of the Food Service Coordinators. You will prepare assigned menu items and ensure room service production meets guidelines, while maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities include daily menu preparation, inventory, handling of fresh produce, and assisting on the a la carte line to ensure timely, accurate patient orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years in restaurant or institutional food service preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient meals according to room service production guidelines.
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment according to schedules.
• Assists expeditor on the patient meal line to ensure timely, accurate orders.
• Inventories and portions menu items according to recipes and requisitions.
