Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to maintain clean and safe areas in our healthcare and client facilities. You will perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in patient spaces, adhering to safety procedures and Aramark policies.

Responsibilities include following OSHA/state/local regulations, reporting maintenance needs, and delivering friendly service while protecting assets. The role may involve lifting, standing, and wearing PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA/state/local/federal and Aramark regulations
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, trash disposal, and restroom cleaning following infection control procedures
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service toward customers, clients, patients and co-workers
• Secures the facility and ensures doors are locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties as assigned by manager
• This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking/standing and PPE usage
