Job summary

Aramark EVS Worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas in a healthcare-related environment. You will follow established procedures to ensure a safe, hygienic environment, including cleaning patient/resident rooms and handling waste according to infection control guidelines.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a courteous, responsive attitude toward patients, clients, and colleagues.

Qualifications

Previous custodial experience preferred.
Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment in line with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, and waste removal; cleans restrooms per infection control procedures.
Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
Cleans areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
Follows procedures for trash storage and disposal and transports it to designated areas.
Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients and co-workers; adapts to customer needs.
Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
Ensures security of company assets.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
