Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions for cleaning.
• Empties trash containers and replaces liners as appropriate.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows using proper chemicals and equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance department.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and adheres to safety rules.
• Follows facility policies for Abuse Prevention and enforces them.
• Attends required in-services and complies with policies and procedures.
