Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.
• Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily according to facility protocols.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions and may mop floors.
• Empties trash, replaces liners, and disposes of waste in proper receptacles.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor and washes windows as needed.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance and requests supplies from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and adheres to safety rules.
