Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions; may mop, sweep, or spot-mop floors.
• Empties trash containers and replaces liners.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows using appropriate chemicals and equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and follows safety rules.
• Familiar with Facility policies and Abuse Prevention responsibilities.
