Job Description: Patient Room Cleaner

Location: Our Lady of the Lake Regional, 5000 Hennessy Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808. Note: Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; hours and days may vary. Weekends are required. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Prior customer service experience preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain hospitals, hotels, and restaurants in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Shampoo carpets and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures, trash containers, wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Make beds, change linens, and realign furniture.
• Respond to guest queries, requests, spills, and housekeeping issues.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
