Responsibilities

• Post payments accurately and set up payment plans for services and balances.
• Review account balances and communicate with patients and others about outstanding amounts.
• Assist patients with questions and resolve account issues effectively.
• Coordinate and complete charity care and financial assistance applications.
• Contact payers to resolve reimbursement issues and follow up on denials.
• Interpret insurance contracts and regulations to ensure proper reimbursement and adjustments.
• Investigate and resolve claims errors in the clearinghouse system.
