Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Representative to support patient check-in, billing, and insurance verification across Florida locations. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of clinical experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to navigate multiple computer programs. BLS certification is required within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures
• Answer clinic phone calls and provide information or refer questions as needed
• Verify insurance timely and accurately
• Follow occupational client’s preference card and procedures
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and collect insurance/demographic information
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift with all payments accounted for
• Willing to travel/float between all MD Now locations within assigned area

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner. Ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed

• Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed

• Verifies insurance timely and accurately

• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures

• Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and insures collection of necessary insurance / demographic information

• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift. Includes all forms of payment are accounted for and documented

• Willing to travel/float between all MD Now locations within assigned Area preferred

What Qualifications you will need:
