Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to lead the Guest Services team at Johns Hopkins Hospital. You will supervise daily activities of Patient Representatives, Information Receptionists and the Patient Ambassador, and participate in training and scheduling to ensure exceptional patient experiences.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hospital or healthcare customer service experience and a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Serves as a knowledge and resource leader for Guest Services employees and is responsible for supporting management with various functions of the department. Responsible for assisting with the supervision of daily activities of the Patient Representatives, Information Receptionists and Patient Ambassador. Responsible for participating in training, staff evaluations and scheduling. Provides information regarding hospital services, policies and procedures to department and hospital staff, patient and families. Provides emotional support to families in times of patient crisis.

At least 3 years or more of relevant work experience in a hospital/health care setting or similar customer service environment. Experience working within a critical care area with Patients/Visitors, and staff. Possess a minimum of 2 years of supervisory level (group level experience)
Salary Range: Minimum 18.87/hour - Maximum 31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
