Job summary

Meister Dental Group in Fairfield, OH, is seeking a full-time Patient Relations Coordinator (PRC) to keep a busy dental office running smoothly and make patients feel welcomed, cared for, and confident from check-in to check-out.

The PRC will handle front desk operations, scheduling, insurance verification, and daily financial tasks while collaborating with the team to deliver an outstanding patient experience. Dental office familiarity is preferred and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a direct customer-facing role.
• Dental office experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification and EOBs.
• Proficient with scheduling and front desk workflows.

Responsibilities

• Answering patient calls throughout the day
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Checking patients in and out
• Verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments
• Reviewing and documenting patient financial and insurance responsibility with 100% accuracy
• Collecting payments for services performed
• Managing the daily patient schedule
• Reaching out to patients due for treatment or hygiene visits
• Using scheduling tools to fill cancellations and past-due appointments
• Following up on outstanding and past insurance claims as needed
• Posting insurance payments and EOBs accurately
• Collecting past-due balances
• Supporting the team during morning huddles and throughout the day
