Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Registration Specialist I for the Ferrell Duncan Clinic in Springfield, MO. This role supports on-site registration and arrival, collecting demographic and insurance data and handling patient financial obligations at the time of service.

The position involves greeting patients, serving internal team members professionally, and occasional travel between sites with possible extended hours to meet department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete financial clearance functions.
• Register for scheduled and unscheduled visits by collecting demographic and insurance information.
• Handle patient financial obligation at the time of service.
• Greet and serve patients and internal team members in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
• Some travel from site to site, and extended hours may be required based on business needs.
