Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to help patients check into Intermountain McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. This part-time, PRN as needed/on-call role is fast-paced and requires input across multiple systems, while addressing patients' fears and questions with compassion.

You must be able to multi-task, type quickly, and be prepared to see illness in a hospital setting. Training is provided; vaccinations, drug screen and background check are required prior to hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service experience required or preferred.
• Medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and inputting patient information during busy registration.
• Collecting accurate patient and insurance details across multiple screens.
• Comfortable working around clinicians during emergent care.
• Provide compassionate support to patients who are ill or anxious.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking and training provided.
