Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Ensure charts are completed and accurate.
• Verify all insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
• Ensure signatures are obtained for treatment.
• Process patient charts according to paperwork flow and productivity standards.
• Interview incoming patients and family to obtain identifying and demographical information.
• Assign Insurance Plans accurately.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine pre-certification/authorization status.
• Secure signatures for treatments and insurance-related documents.
• Explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment.
