Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Ensure charts are completed and accurate.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
• Secure signatures for treatment and release of information.
• Process patient charts according to workflows and productivity standards.
• Identify and collect demographics and insurance data.
• Verify benefits and enter authorization numbers into the system.
• Explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payments.
