Job summary

The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator at Humana Inc. coordinates and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures, working onsite in New Smyrna Beach, FL with occasional travel to Port Orange, East Port Orange, DeLand and Orange City. Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on referral healthcare experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficient with medical terminology and EMR systems.
• Strong communication abilities with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures.
• Communicate preparation instructions to patients and referring providers.
• Coordinate with specialists outside the primary care office and maintain policies.
