Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of pre-certification experience.
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes.
• Experience with referral management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Referral Management: receive and review referrals, verify eligibility and ensure complete documentation.
• Coordination and Scheduling: schedule appointments with specialist providers and relay details to patients.
• Patient Communication: act as primary contact for patient inquiries and assist with paperwork.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: maintain electronic records of referrals, authorizations, and interactions.
• Quality Assurance: ensure compliance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Light data entry and other related office duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
