Job summary

A healthcare facility located in Livingston, Montana is seeking an individual responsible for processing payments and adjustments related to patient accounts. Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least two years of customer service or medical office experience. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $2,500, hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and no weekend or holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service, medical, or business office experience.
• Minimum of two years computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar programs.
• Demonstrated ability to be accurate and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Open, distribute, and organize daily mail.
• Audit and prepare insurance EOB’s for accurate posting.
• Process EOB’s for secondary billing per procedure.
• Electronic posting of payments per procedure.
• Calculate and apply contractual adjustments as required.
