Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, and timely delivery and pickup of meals.

You will communicate patient nutrition needs to the team and nursing staff, respond to special requests, and adapt quickly to changes to ensure accurate meal timing and adherence to modified diet orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; six months hospital food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections and tray assembly.
• Deliver and pickup meals and handle in-between meal service requests.
• Communicate patient nutrition issues to the department and nursing staff.
• Respond to changes promptly to ensure timely, accurate modified diets.
