Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Dietary Service professional to support patient meal service on assigned units. You will assist with menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, and respond to special requests to ensure patient satisfaction.

Ideal candidates may have up to six months of hospital food service experience and must meet education requirements. On-site role with supportive team and focus on accurate nutrition delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup.
• Communicate patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members within the department and interact with nursing staff regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements.
• React accurately and effectively to changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician‑ordered modified diets.
