Qualifications

• Experience or training sufficient to perform the duties; not requiring a specific length of training.
• Applicants will be rated under the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.
• Responsibilities include liaison between patient, Nutrition and Food Service staff and Nursing Service; communication of patient nutrition needs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain meal requests from patients and visitors and enter in the computerized system per diet orders.
• Run reports and process requisitions.
• Check meals and tube feedings for accuracy and QA adherence.
• Daily communication with NFS staff and nursing.
• Participate in performance improvement activities (calorie counts, patient surveys, ACD logs).
