Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA is hiring for multiple openings as Food Service Ambassador. Full-Time and Per Diem roles involve handling patient meal orders, inputting diet orders in EPIC, and assisting with tray line activities while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a National Food Handler Card, and experience with therapeutic diets is a plus.

Qualifications

• National Food Handler Card required upon hire.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient and caregiver food orders and input into the computer.
• Assist with delivery of meals to patients and support tray line activities.
• Process diet orders accurately through EPIC and communicate with patients and caregivers.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure smooth food service in a hospital setting.
