Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Nutrition Assistant I to serve patients, families and staff with nutritious meals and courteous care. You will set up patient trays, follow room service menus, and ensure dining areas stay clean and well stocked.

Daily duties include collecting trays, loading dishes into the dishwasher, and assisting across food services, including stocking, cashier, and storage tasks, while honoring dietary restrictions and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year of food service or customer service experience.
• None, upon hire.
• Preferred: cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all food handling areas are sanitized and disinfected for safety.
• Exhibits knowledge in food preparation and production.
• Accurately portions meals and beverages, considering dietary restrictions.
• Supports team members in all areas of food services including cashier, stocking, cleaning, and dishwashing.
