CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to help deliver safe, high-quality food services to patients and staff. You will prepare and deliver meal trays, assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety compliance while engaging with patients about dietary needs.

Responsibilities include portion control, responding to allergy-related questions, and using electronic diet tools and health records to support diet orders.

Qualifications

• One year of food service experience.
• Food Handler Permit: NE within 30 days.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and serves food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of recipe ingredients to respond to food allergy questions.
• Follows healthcare foodservice standards and maintains proper food temperatures.
• Ensures proper meal portioning and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
• Escalates patient nutrition questions to clinical team as needed.
• Navigates electronic health records to access patient diet orders and nutritional reports.
• Performs general cleaning of equipment and work areas.
